Really?

Mr. Obama,

In response to your recent date with Mrs. Obama, I have one question for you: "What are you thinking?" Last night, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart reported that your outing to New York cost somewhere around $150,000. $150,000 for dinner and a Broadway show? You might not be surprised to learn that many Americans are upset with this figure knowing that they, as U.S. taxpayers, funded your lovely evening. To make matters worse, it has not even been confirmed that this was the actual cost. When recently asked for an accurate number, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs failed to provide one and struggled to produce a single coherent thought. But I digress and return to my original question: "What are you thinking?" This country is facing one of the worst economic crises in U.S. history, people continue to lose their jobs and their homes, and innocent civilians continue to die in a war that you once promised to end but now support like it was the best idea since sliced bread. But please, don't pinch any pennies on our account. In fact, do it up even bigger next time. Why stop at New York? Why not take the missis to Paris? We'll be happy to front the bill so that you and Michelle can have a nice time. I mean, it's really not that much in relation to the trillions of dollars you've already spent since being elected. By all means, just pile on the debt. Oh, and if you don't plan on eating the leftovers you brought home in a doggy bag, I'm sure the parents who couldn't feed their children last night would be happy to take it off your hands.
