Think of the Children

I came across this quote the other night and, because it is so relevant, I feel obligated to share it with you:

“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issuance of their currency, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all their prosperity until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered."

Thomas Jefferson

I tend to think of these words when I consider the idea of bringing a child (or children) into this world. Unfortunately, it is no longer a matter of "if". We have in fact allowed private banks to control our currency, and we are only beginning to see the devastating consequences of such action. If protecting your personal prosperity and freedom is not reason enough, then think of your children and your grandchildren. Think about the world they will inherit if we refuse to fight the system currently in place.
